Inactive - In Nest
Overview and Meaning
Inactive nest is an inactive behavior that occurs within the nest.
Description
The animal is in the nest but cannot clearly be seen due to camera angles. No movement within the nest can be detected and it is assumed that the animal is sleeping. This behavior is distinguished from other behaviors within the nest because no movement within or of the nest itself is observed.
Classification
Contexts
Inactive behaviors are typically an individual behavior, however, they can be considered as an affiliative interaction. One such example of this is group sleeping.
