Description

The female will often move or try to escape the male during exploration, at which point the male will follow or pursue his potential mate.

Sexual pursuing can be distinguished from other forms of pursuit, such as chase by the context in which it occurs (i.e. male-female interactions) and the accompanying behaviors (such as sexual postures, or copulation).
